
The League of Women Voters of Homewood-Flossmoor Area with the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle is hosting a forum Saturday, March 8, to give the public a chance to hear from the candidates running for the Flossmoor village board in the April 1 election.
The forum will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway. Two mayoral candidates will participate first. After their forum, the trustee candidates will face questions.
The public can ask questions of the candidates by filling out question forms provided by the LWV.
Nine candidates are running for four seats. Incumbent Mayor Michelle Nelson is being challenged by Trustee Joni Bradley-Scott.
Incumbent trustees Gary Daggett and Brian Driscoll are in the running for three seats along with challengers Kevin Dorsey, Belgee Falkner, Troy Holmes, Phil Lee and Carolyn Rodgers.
