The League of Women Voters of Homewood-Flossmoor Area with the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle is hosting a forum Saturday, March 1, to give the public a chance to hear from the candidates running for the Homewood-Flossmoor High School school board in the April 1 election.

The forum will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Flossmoor Village Hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road. 

The public can ask questions of the candidates by filling out question forms provided by the LWV.

The five candidates are Lenita Gipson, Ariana Leonard, Camille O’Quin, Aredell “AJ” Roundtree and Tamekia Smith.

Candidates are campaigning to fill three seats on the board after members Steve Anderson, Cynthia Turnquest and Michelle Hoereth decided not to seek re-election.
