Coyote Run Golf Course in Flossmoor opens its 2025 season on Sunday. 

The forecast calls for a high temperature of 45 degrees. Sunday, Feb. 2, is Groundhog Day, but Coyote Run staff say they make no guarantees on what the groundhog predicts for the rest of winter/spring. 

The course will be open for walkers. Golfers can book a tee-time by calling 708-957-8700.

This is the 20th season for the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District course. In 2024, a record 40,261 rounds were played.
