Animals of the North Pole. STEM Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway, will feature veterinarian Donna Barksdale talking about the animals of the north pole.

One of These Snowflakes is Not Like the Others. All the sparkly snowflakes decorations on utility poles in downtown Homewood are the same, except for one. Anyone who finds the odd snowflake can stop by Homewood village hall, 2020 Chestnut Road, from 9 a.m. to noon. Homewood Mayor Rich Hofeld will offer a coupon from Juanchos Tacos, Twisted Q BBQ or Krispy Kreme Donuts to anyone who can tell him where the unique snowflake is located.

Holiday T-Shirt Bar Pop Up. TMC Promos & Gifts, 1056 Sterling Ave., No. 11, in Flossmoor will host a holiday T-Shirt Bar Pop Up event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, and Sunday, Dec. 22. More information at tmcpromos.com.
