Howard B. Kruger, was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Kruger, cherished father of Jody (Rick) Simmons, loving grandfather of Dana (Ben Marcus) Simmons and Marissa (Ryan Lichtig) Simmons, adored brother of Lee (the late Robert) Martin and the late Irma Jane (the late Albert) Gordon, and dear uncle of Steven (Susan) Gordon, Phillip Pinsley, and the late Cindy Mintz.
Sergeant Major Kruger was a decorated WWII and Korean War veteran. He served in the 101st Airborne Division as a paratrooper in the Invasion at Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge, and later in Korea. He was deeply proud of his service to our country and was an honored guest speaker in classrooms and with local scout troops.
