“Our aim is to enhance the culture and climate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School, fostering an environment where every student feels supported and empowered,” said Hubert Stallings, HFPA Vice President. “The collaboration between the school administration and the Homewood-Flossmoor Parent Association (HFPA) for this event is a testament to our commitment to our students’ well-being and success. Together, we are excited to create an atmosphere where our students can thrive.”

The Dad Squad will tour classrooms and interact with students and staff throughout the day, learning about the opportunities available to their children. During passing periods, the dads will passed out candy, brightened students’ days with dad jokes, and share words of encouragement to the Viking scholars.

“The community needs Fathers,” Principal Clinton Alexander said. “It is a day of great camaraderie, fellowship, and something truly remarkable for Homewood-Flossmoor High School. The Dad Squad event is not just about fathers and granddads; it’s about the entire school community coming together to make a positive difference in the lives of our students.”
