Prairie State College (PSC) will host its third annual Community Day Celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. in lots C and D off Vollmer and Halsted, on the main PSC campus at 202 South Halsted St., in Chicago Heights.
It is part of Homecoming Week at PSC.
This event is free and open to the public. It will feature a car show, music, face painting, and other activities. Complimentary food tickets will be available while supplies last. Local vendors and organizations will be on-site offering a first-hand look at their products and services.
PSC Athletics is celebrating its 30th anniversary with two exciting events. The women’s soccer team will play the College of Lake County in a crucial Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference match at 4 p.m. at the Pioneer Sports Complex. At 6 p.m., the PSC volleyball team will they face off against local rival Moraine Valley.
