FLOSSMOOR BOARD — Trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. tonight in village hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road. The meeting normally occurs on Monday, but was moved because of the Labor Day holiday. The board will consider endorsing a Class 8 property tax relief designation for BRC Capital LLC, which is renovating the building at 1615 Vollmer Road, home of Embassy Cigar Lounge; ratify costs for emergency storm and sanitary repairs near the Brookwood Bridge replacement project; consider a resolution authorizing the village to enter into a cooperative purchasing agreement to help the fire department replace extrication equipment that is nearly 30 years old.
BREMEN TOWNSHIP — Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3 at 15350 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Forest, to pay bills and at 7 p.m. for the regular meeting.

RTA PRESENTATION — The Regional Transportation Authority will offer information about its programs and services from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway.
CHOO-CHOO RIDE — The weekly four- to five-mile bike ride through Homewood and Flossmoor neighborhoods returns. Riders will meet at 6 p.m. at GoodSpeed Cycles, 2125 183rd St. The ride starts at 6:30 p.m. It continues Tuesdays weekly at the same place and time through Labor Day.
