Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve has launched its sixth annual calendar photo competition:  Seasons of Izaak Walton/2025.

Entrants can submit a maximum of five entries. Photos can be of weather, landscape, birds, dogs, other animals, and unidentifiable people. Photographs must be shot within Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve. All submissions must be in landscape format (wide not tall), ideally, 8.5 x 11 and watermark free.

Photographers can submit high-resolution images via email, with name, address, and phone number, plus a title for the photo and the month it was taken, to: [email protected]. The submission deadline is midnight on Sept. 30, 2024.

Visitors to the Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve Facebook page will be able to “Like” up to 12 photos to vote for their favorite submissions. 

An independent panel of photographers serving as the Homewood Izaak Walton Photo Committee will choose their favorites. The public’s votes will break any ties. All decisions are final.
