The Indiana Department of Transportation invites the public to an information session at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, about proposed changes to I-80/94 between the Bishop Ford Freeway in Illinois and the I-65 interchange in Merrillville.
The proposed changes will be presented starting at 6 p.m. at the Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood.
The potential changes include dynamic shoulder lanes, variable speed limits and ramp metering, along with interchange upgrades at Broadway and at I-65.
The project team will give information on the improvements and next steps, as well as give attendees the opportunity to talk one-on-one with members of the team.
