HOMEWOOD TORNADO DAMAGE REPORTS — Today is the last day to submit a report on damage from the July 15 tornado. The village is working on a report documenting property damage to explore whether the area is eligible for FEMA public assistance. Residents can help by completing an online form. Officials note that completing this form does not guarantee that assistance will be provided, but it will help the village complete the initial report. ROCK THE BLOCK— Tonight from 6 to 10 p.m. will be the monthly Homewood block party on Martin Square between Ridge and Chestnut. Homewood DJ Adrian Esparza will entertain from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Twisted Q, Juanchos Tacos, and Hello Boba will be selling food and drinks. There will be a few artisan vendors and activities for kids.
