A water pipe broke in a classroom Thursday, June 27, in the South Building at Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
When summer school students were dismissed at 12:50 p.m., crews shut off the water to make the necessary repairs, said Carla Erdey, director of communications at H-F.
Without water, no one was allowed in the building, which delayed the 3 p.m. summer theater presentation of “Dear Edwina Jr.” to 5 p.m. The 7 p.m. program went on as scheduled.
