The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has planned a free Stars & Stripes Family Social, an evening of fun for all ages, on Wednesday, July 3, at Irwin Park, 18120 S. Highland Ave. in Homewood.
Enjoy a host of activities starting at 6:30 p.m., including spin art, a bounce house and lawn games. Food will be available to purchase from Wiley’s Grill.

At 7 p.m. one of Chicago’s premiere cover bands, SHOUT OUT, takes the stage at the Irwin Park Bandshell. This energetic entourage plays a wide variety of popular songs.
Participants are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food, beverages, and alcohol will be available for purchase from vendors; outside alcohol is prohibited.
