HF JUNETEENTH PARADE — The parade will start at 9 a.m. from Western Avenue School, travel south on Brassie Avenue to Flossmoor Road, then west to Park Junior High. Organizers invite residents to come out and enjoy the show.

PICS IN THE PARK — Homewood-Flossmoor Park District hosts opportunities every Wednesday, 5 to 6:30 p.m., from June 19 to July 31, to explore local parks with camera in-hand. Participants will share photos, learn about photo composition and camera functions. Open to students aged 8 to 14 with access to any digital camera or smartphone. The cost is $120 for district residents and $140 for non-residents. Click here to register.
