Homewood’s annual spring festival, the Art & Garden Street Fair, will return May 31 and June 1.
More than 70 vendors will line the streets downtown selling a wide variety of handcrafted items. Vendors include local and regional artists, jewelry designers, textile makers, candle makers, bath and body products creators, small batch foods producers, wood and furniture makers and sellers of repurposed and vintage items.
There will also be an array of food and drinks available.

The Art & Garden Street Fair was previously known as the Artisan Street Fair and was coordinated by owners of Loulou Belle and the Village of Homewood. In 2023, Loulou Belle’s owners stepped down from the coordination effort. The Village of Homewood took ownership and rebranded the event.
The event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 31, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 1.
Food vendors will be on-site both days and include Twisted Q, Juanchos Tacos, Rabid Brewery, Crumbl Cookies, TJ’s Kettle Corn, D’s Cookie Dough Company, Misericordia Sweets on Wheels, Sno Daze, Creamery and more.
There will be craft activities for children on Saturday with limited spots available.
On Friday, live music will begin at 4 p.m. with Big Weekend playing popular, classic rock hits. Local Homewood-Flossmoor rock band Not My Dad will hit the stage at 7 p.m. and play until 9 p.m., closing out the first night of music.
On Saturday, Fifty-One Lincoln Band will perform at 10 a.m., playing a variety of 1960s music and blues until noon. The PriSSillas, who performed at the Starry Night/Pride event in Irwin Park last year, will take the stage at 1 p.m. and will play until 3 p.m. Closing out the Art & Garden Street Fair are the Southside Soul Kings playing blues, R&B and funky soul from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Admission and parking are free for the duration of the event. Accessible pick-up and drop-off is available on the corner of Kroner Lane and Martin Avenue. For a comprehensive list of vendors, please visit www.homesweethomewood.comand click on the Art & Garden Street Fair scrolling banner.
