D233 BOARD — Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. in the Viking Room, South Building, 999 Kedzie Ave. in Flossmoor. Find the agenda here. The board will consider hiring The Alma Group to conduct the search for the district’s next superintendent following the announcement that Superintendent Scott Wakeley plans to retire in 2025, a memorandum of understanding with the Village of Flossmoor to allow the placement of a license plate reader camera on district property, a contract with Sam Schwartz Consulting to conduct a traffic engineering study to improve the parking lots and ingress/egress.

H-F PARK DISTRICT BOARD — 
Commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. in the Goldberg Administration Center 3301 Flossmoor Road. Find the agenda here. The board will consider approval of the sale of Heather Hill Park at 1739 Lawrence Crescent to the Village of Flossmoor for $425,000. The village plans to use the site for a storm water detention basin, part of a flood reduction project. The board will also consider approving the summer recreation program fee schedule.

FLOSSMOOR POLICE AND FIRE BOARD — Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the village hall board room, 2800 Flossmoor Road. Find the agenda here.

HOMEWOOD STORIES — The curated storytelling show from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at FCC Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor. Tickets are $20 at the door, $15 in advance. Tellers are Karen Genelly, Francesca Sorbrer, Steve Coombs, Adrienne Rieck and show founder Karen O’Donnell.

IPO EVOLVE — Four finalists in the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra Classical Evolve program will have their compositions workshopped and performed at 6:30 p.m. in the Barnes & Noble Auditorium, Prairie State College, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.
