Two guest speakers will discuss the state and local response to the environment and climate change at an April 17 program in recognition of April as Earth Month presented by the League of Women Voters of the Homewood-Flossmoor Area.
The 7 p.m. program at the Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave., in Homewood, will feature guest speakers David Mueller, an attorney focusing on environmental law, and Carrie Malfeo, sustainability coordinator for the Village of Park Forest.
This program is open to the community. Guests do not need to be LWV members to attend. Refreshments will be served.
