ART IN THE PARK — The first session will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Park, 2449 Flossmoor Road. Explore and play at the parks of Homewood and Flossmoor. There will be a different art project each week. Future locations include Millennium Park on April 23, Leavitt Park on May 7 and Goldberg Park on May 21.

COOK BOOK CLUB — The club will be a chance to learn about and try new recipes. Meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood. Fee is $25 per drop-in session for district residents, $30 per session for non-residents, or $80 for district residents for all sessions, $100 for non-residents. Click here to register.

PRIVY DIGGERS — Homewood Historical Society will host a presentation by Michael and Mario Bovino, self-proclaimed “privy diggers” who will tell the story and facts about their findings, including Victorian-era artifacts. The presentation will be preceded by a short business meeting at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Homewood Public Library meeting room, 17917 Dixie Highway.
