Hands Of Gold MedSpa & BodySculpting opens in Homewood

The spa celebrated with a new business’s ribbon cutting “soft-opening” Thursday, March 14. Tania Jones, a Hazel Crest resident and founder of Hands of Gold MedSpa & BodySculpting, was overjoyed with Homewood’s business representatives and village members being so supportive.

“Having Mayor Rich Hofeld and the Homewood Fire Department coming out to congratulate us during our ribbon cutting was so welcoming,” Jones said. “This is our soft-opening ceremony to better familiarize community members and locals on our services. Our doors officially open April 6, and in the meantime, we are accepting calls in scheduled appointments.”

The  spa offers a wide range of services, including massage therapy, Reiki and sound therapy, body contouring, facials, and waxing.

“We’re excited to have our occupational therapist on board to familiarize clients with Reiki techniques better and help raise awareness,”  Jones added.

Reiki is known for its natural healing modality, a complementary energy treatment that balances, remedies and harmonizes a person’s body, mind, and spirit.

Jones said clients will have personalized services from experts with vast knowledge of the latest specialized advancements and procedures, including body sculpting, also known as body contouring. It is a non-surgical procedure that eliminates fat in targeted areas like the stomach, thighs, upper arms, etc. Jones said. Services such as body sculpting and other treatments, are expected to help destroy up to 24% of fat cells and help clients lose inches without surgery.

“We have packages for our future clients exploring body sculpting,” Jones said, adding sessions and proper aftercare routine clients should expect to see results. Jones explained.

The spa will also offer facial services with estheticians trained and certified in performing hydro frequency facials, providing skin analyses and at-home recommendations for aftercare.

Waxing services include typical eyebrow appointments and any added services clients may need.

Visit the spa’s website. Clients can call 708-513-0043 for an appointment.
