FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT — The H-F Park District will host an evening egg hunt in two sessions, 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 to 9:15 p.m. tonight at Irons Oaks, 20000 Western Ave. Bring a flashlight and basket. A non-paying adult must accompany child. The hunts will start promptly at the registered start time. For kids aged 3 to 10. The fee is $12 for district residents, $15 for non-residents. Click here to register.

LUCKY EGG HUNT — The H-F Park District will host its annual egg hunt for kids 10 and younger at 10 a.m. Apollo Park, Morgan Street & Bowling Green Road in Homewood. There will be a few lucky eggs which include an extra prize. The bunny will be available for photos after the hunt. For H-F residents only.

ROAD RIDE — Barb and Dan’s Road Ride, a weekly bike ride starts at 8 a.m. Saturday from GoodSpeed Cycle, 2125 W. 183rd St. in Homewood. There are two groups. One is a no-one-gets-dropped group that follows a 20-mile route. Another group is goes on a longer ride. Helmets required. Lights encouraged. Riders of all experience levels are welcome.

OFF-LEASH BIKE RIDE — A nine-mile ride every Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. at GoodSpeed Cycle, 2125 W. 183rd St. in Homewood. The route includes Butterfield Creek bike path, past Rover’s Run and through Izaak Walton Preserve. No registration. Donuts upon return.

SONGBIRD OF SOUL AT FREEDOM HALL — Terisa Griffin will perform at Freedom Hall – Park Forest at 7:30 p.m. Saturday Purchase tickets here.

CHICAGO KNOCKOUTS ROLLER DERBY — Retro Rumblers will face the Comic Book Crushers at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Homewood Auditorium, 2010 Chestnut Road. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $15.

NEVER PLAY MUSIC RIGHT NEXT TO THE ZOO — A musicial story time by Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday for kids from age 0 to 12. Registration is preferred, but not required.
