KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION — Flossmoor School District 161 will hold kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at each elementary school: Flossmoor Hills, 3721 Beech St., 708-647-7100; Heather Hill, 1439 Lawrence Crescent, 708-647-7200; Serena Hills, 255 Pleasant Drive, Chicago Heights, 708-647-7300; and Western Avenue, 940 Western Ave., 708-647-7400.
YOUTH DANCE OPEN HOUSE — H-F Park District will host an open house from 5 to 5:30 p.m. at Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. for kids aged 7 to 12 to meet the district’s new dance instructor, Michele Ritacco. Kids can dance with her and ask questions after the lesson. Children should wear clean gym shoes or ballet shoes. Comfortable clothing is highly recommended.
LEAP DAY DINNER — Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery Chef Chris Ball and Brewmaster Jake LaDuke will host a special dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1035 Sterling Ave. Paired dishes with craft beer for $85. Tickets available here.
