BRUMLEY DRIVE OPEN HOUSE — Flossmoor will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. at village hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road, to give residents a chance to learn more and ask questions about the improvements planned for Brumley Drive from Bruce Avenue to Sterling Avenue.

HOMEWOOD STORIES — The storytelling show at FCC Community House, 847 Hutchison Road, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tellers include Paul Teodo, Margie Rossi, Joe Mallon, Paula J. Smith and show curator Karen O’Donnell. Patrons can bring their own beverages, dinner, snacks. Tickets are $20 at the door, $15 in advance.

DISTRICT 233 — The Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the Viking Room, 999 Kedzie Ave. Find the agenda here. The board will consider amending the district fund balance policy, abating property taxes in accordance with the FY2024 Property Tax Relief Grant and awarding a contract for G-Building roof replacement.
