PRINCE CHARMING DANCE — H-F Park District will host a dance for moms, grandmothers and aunts with their “prince charming” dates from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight in the H-F Sports Complex, 18211 Aberdeen St. in Homewood. There will be games, snacks and professional photos available for purchase. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. For ages 3 to 12. The cost is $34 for district residents, $44 for non-residents. Click here to register.

FISH FRY FRIDAYS — Lenten fish fries start today from 4:30 to 8 p.m. tonight and continue weekly through March 22 at St. John Neumann Church, 17951 Dixie Highway. Dine in and carry out. 

LOVE IS AN ADVENTURE — A post-Valentine’s Day celebration for teens in 7th through 12th grades from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight at Homewood Public Library, 17917 Dixie Highway, with games, a craft, food and a showing of the movie “The Princess Bride.” Register here

FARMERS MARKET — The monthly Homewood Indoor Farmers Market market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Homewood auditorium, 2010 Chestnut Road. 

SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER — Fifth Quarter, 18105 Dixie Highway, will host a fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, to benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge. There will be raffles and prizes. Cost is $35 per person.

FAMILY ICE SKATING FUNDRAISER — Homewood Flossmoor Parents Association is sponsoring Family Ice Skating from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at H-F Ice Arena, 777 Kedzie Ave. Cost is $15. Proceeds support HFPA scholorships that will be awarded to graduating seniors.
