Flossmoor police and fire units responded to the 19600 block of Governors Highway about 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, to investigate a possible hit and run fatal accident involving a pedestrian.
In a statement, village officials said there was no active threat to the community or businesses in the area; however, traffic remains restricted on Governors Highway while the investigation continues.
