STUDENT LEADERS NEEDED — The Homewood Science Center is seeking 11th and 12th grade students to serve as volunteer leaders to help with its Girls STEAM Celebration on April 13. Student Leadership Training will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, at the science center, 18022 Dixie Highway. Leaders will be notified by March 15. Click here to apply.
ROVER’S RUN SURVEY— The H-F Park District is inviting residents to provide feedback on Rover’s Run Dog Park through an online survey. The board of commissioners recently voted to make the dog park open and free. One survey per person.
ROOTS TO SUCCESS— Flossmoor is looking village residents who are African American business owners, finance professionals, entrepreneurs or influencers to participate in a Black History Month workshop, “Roots to Success: Bridging Generations in Black Entrepreneurship” to be held in partnership with Homewood-Flossmoor High School.
