Homewood-Flossmoor High baseball standout Bryce Gray will be the guest speaker for the H-F Baseball Boosters Club Hot Stove fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 27.
The event at Balagio Ristorante, 17501 Dixie Highway in Homewood, opens at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour and time to bid on various raffle prizes followed by dinner and a talk by Gray, a 2016 H-F graduate who went on to play at the University of Notre Dame.
Gray played in 25 games with nine starts during his sophomore season and accepted a position as student-assistant coach for his junior season. He was the 2017 Notre Dame Baseball Fall Academic Award winner and the Monogram Award inductee in fall 2018.
Today Gray is with JP Morgan Chase in New York focusing on equity futures and options sales and execution.
The H-F Baseball Boosters Club, made up of parents and other supporters, works to provide funding for the needs of the 80-member Vikings team, including equipment, the Senior Night recognition event and barbeques for Vikings and the opposing team during double-headers.
