Because of the changing weather patterns, District 153 schools will be on an e-learning schedule Friday, Jan. 12.

Superintendent Scott McAlister wrote to parents that the administration consulted with other area superintendents and the bus company serving students at Willow, Churchill and James Hart Schools, as well as the National Weather Service, in making the decision.
The forecast calls for snow and dropping temperatures.
Teachers will be online to help students with their assignments.
The schools will be closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
McAlister said the administration will monitor the situation next week and determine whether school will resume on Tuesday.
