The Village of Homewood will be partnering with School District 153 again this year to collect items for Anew, Respond Now and South Suburban Humane Society in honor of Martin Luther King Day of Service.
On Monday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, residents can drop-off items at the west entrance of village hall, 2020 Chestnut Road.
The collection has been extended to last the entire month rather than one day. After Jan. 15, residents can drop off items at any one of five locations: James Hart School office, 18220 Morgan St.; Willow School office, 1804 Willow Road; Churchill School office, 1300 W. 190th St.; District 153 office, 18205 Aberdeen St.; and village hall.
