CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PARTY— The Conservatory Vintage & Vinyl, 1042 Sterling Ave., will host its fourth annual customer appreciation party from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight. There will be a stepping class led by Royce Banks from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

MENORAH LIGHTING — Flossmoor will host a menorah lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. in front of Park Place in Flossmoor Park, 2449 Flossmoor Road. The ceremony celebrating Hanukkah will be conducted at 5 p.m. each day through Dec. 15.

BLOOD DRIVE— The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Advocate South Suburban Hospital, 17800 Kedzie Ave., Hazel Crest.

HOMEWOOD CHEVY CARES CONTEST OPEN— The Chevrolet of Homewood holiday car giveaway contest is open. To be considered for a free car to be given away on Christmas eve, submit an application here explaining how a car would change the life of the person being nominated. The deadline is today. STEM SATURDAY— The Homewood Science Center, 18022 Dixie Highway, will host a holiday STEM Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities will include making holiday STEM ornaments, Magic Milk for Santa and more. There will also be holiday-themed anatomy crafts and activities.

IPO HOLIDAY CONCERT— The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra will host its “Holiday Festival: A Celebration of Voice & Music” its family-friendly holiday program at 3 p.m. Saturday featuring the Chicago Community Chorus, led by Artistic Director Keith Hampton. Find tickets here.

BLOOD DRIVE Nina Council 3602 of the Knights of Columbus will hold a Vitalant blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Veronica Parish (formerly Infant Jesus of Prague), 1131 Douglas Ave. in Flossmoor. Donors will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card or a gift card from other retailers. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
