HOLIDAY LIGHTS FESTIVAL PREP— Homewood officials announced that Martin Avenue will be closed from Ridge Road to Hickory Road at 7:30 a.m. today. Ridge Road from Harwood Avenue to Dixie Highway will be closed at 7:30 a.m. Friday and Ridge Road from Dixie Highway east to Highland Avenue will be closed at 4 p.m. Friday. The festival will begin at 5 p.m. Friday on Ridge Road and Martin Avenue.
