The Edward Jones Office at 18735 Dixie Highway is a drop-off site for the 2023 Illinois Toys for Tots program.
Patrick Zamkin, financial advisor, and his staff will accept new, unwrapped toys during regular business hours through Dec. 13.
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is best known for its work at Christmas, but its efforts are year-round. The organization distributed 24.4 million toys, books and games to 9.9 million children in 2022.
“Our purpose at Edward Jones is to make a positive difference for our clients, colleagues and communities. Serving as a collection point for the Toys for Tots drive is one way we can join with our community and deliver on that purpose,” Zamkin said. “And now, in the season of giving, it’s an ideal time to remember others in our community.”
This drop-off site is for toys and books. Persons wishing to make a monetary donation to the Toys for Tots program can find information at toysfortots.org.
