Homewood police responded to the 17500 block of Dixie Highway about 8:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, to investigate a report of shots fired.

Officers found several shell casings in the area but did not locate anyone who was involved.

Police said they believe it was an isolated incident and urge anyone who may have information about it to call 708-206-3420.
