What’s 27 feet long, claims to get countless smiles per gallon and is billed as “a monument to fun”?

That would be the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile, which made a stop for about an hour Friday, Oct. 6, at Walt’s Food Center in Homewood.

The Wienermobile staff — “BBQ” Brady Schroeder of Austin, Texas, and “Grill em up” Emily Schmitt of Atlanta, Georgia — were in Homewood for the first time on their trek. They’ve been on the road for four months.
