DECIPHERING FOOD LABELS — Christine Rosandich, a nutritionist with the Cancer Support Center, will offer a presentation at 7 p.m. tonight in the Helen Wilson Meeting Room at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave., on how to read food labels, identify harmful ingredients and calculate fat, sodium and sugar intake. Registration is not required.

SHEDD AQUARIUM TRIP FOR SENIORS — Homewood Public Library will take seniors aged 60 and up to Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. The trip will start at 10:45 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m. Transportation will be provided. For more information and to register, visit the library website.
