SUMMER FEST — The Homewood Science Center’s Summer Fest will be from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight at Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Highway in Flossmoor. The evening includes music with DJ Phil, summer food specialties, two drink tickets, STEM games for adults and an online auction that includes Chicago Cubs and White Sox tickets, golf rounds, jewelry, a Thornton Quarry tour donated by Heidelberg Materials. Bidding concludes at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale through the homewoodsciencecenter.org.

DIY TIE-DYE TEDDY BEAR WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS — Let your inner child come out to play at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Flossmoor Public Library, 1000 Sterling Ave. Adults get a chance to create a no-mess tie-dye teddy bear.
