A Homewood resident suffered a minor injury in a house fire Thursday evening in Homewood, according to Fire Chief Bob Grabowski.
The fire department received the call at 7:15 p.m. and responded to the 18400 block of Dixie Highway.
The home suffered moderate damage, but the cause has not yet been determined, Grabowski said.
Crews from Flossmoor and Hazel Crest provided mutual aid for the Homewood Fire Department. Crews cleared the scene about 8 p.m.
