STARRY NIGHTS CONCERT/PRIDE NIGHT — The first Starry Nights concert of the summer begins with Pride Night festivities at 5 p.m. tonight with vendors and a DJ in Irwin Park, 1800 block of Ridge Road in Homewood.  At 7 p.m. The PriSSillas take the stage. Bring blankets or lawn chairs. Food, beverages and alcohol will be available for purchase. Commemorative Pride T-shirts will be available for purchase.

DANCING AWAY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE — Get your heart rate up and help combat domestic violence at the same time from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the annual event sponsored by Anew: Building Beyond Violence and Abuse. Martin Square in Homewood will be filled with line dancing, cardio drumming and jazzercise programs that can be enjoyed by all family members.
All proceeds benefit Anew and its mission to end domestic violence. Tickets can be purchased at https://bit.ly/DADV23.

PAPER SHREDDING, ELECTRONICS RECYCLING, DRUG TAKEBACK — State Rep. Will Davis will host a paper shredding, electronics recycling and prescription drug takeback event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10, at his office, 1912 W. 174th St., East Hazel Crest. The event is for households, not businesses.
