The Drama Group will continue its 91st season with the cult-fan-mystery-murder “Clue on Stage” directed by Jim LaPietra and populated with the list of usual suspects.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17; at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 11 and 18.
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office at 708-755-3444.
Masks will no longer be required for audience members, but The Drama Group still encourages people to wear masks while in the building.
The book written by Sandy Rustin is based on the 1985 Paramount movie, which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue.
The play is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery.
The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects.
Local actors in the cast include Joe Hoyt of Flossmoor as Col. Mustard and Meghan Hoyt of Flossmoor as Mrs. Peacock. Production staff includes Russ Hoganson of Homewood as set designer, Bob Sullivan of Homewood as construction lead and Arlene Freeman of Homewood as props and decor assistant.
The Drama Group is a member of Southland Arts with 26 local arts organizations and receives support from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
