IZAAK’S MIGRATORY BIRD DAY – Fly in for Migratory Bird Day at Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve in Homewood from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. You can listen to lectures, take an Audubon-guided bird walk and build a birdhouse. Kids will have fun with activities, games and hands-on projects. Also browse a local bird photography exhibit.

ROLLER DERBY NIGHT IN HOMEWOOD – Chicago Knockouts Roller Derby presents a bout at 8 p.m. Saturday at H-F Auditorium, 2010 Chestnut Road, Homewood. The Retro Rumblers take on the Comic-Book Crushers. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

FLOSSMOOR HOUSE WALK INCLUDES BREWS – Flossmoor Service League House Walk is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The walk showcases three homes in the Old Flossmoor neighborhood, a second-floor downtown Flossmoor apartment, and brewery tours of Flossmoor Station. The cost is a $25 donation to FSL.
