MAJOR ROAD CLOSURE – Today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Vollmer Road between Kedzie and Western Avenues will be closed as crews perform litter pickup and minor maintenance work along the road and in the viaduct. Only local traffic will be allowed through the intersection of Vollmer Road and Western Avenue. Police officers will be stationed at both intersections to assist with traffic control.
