It was just three weeks ago when Homewood residents elected three new trustees and re-elected an incumbent to the Homewood Library Board.
Now it needs a fourth person to join them.
Tim Martin is moving from Homewood after he took a new job assignment. There are two years left on his term. The deadline to apply to fill the vacancy is May 10. The application form is on the homewoodlibrary.org website.
The library board will select a new trustee from the applicants.
To be eligible, the candidate must be a Homewood resident and be current on payment of Cook County taxes.
In the April 4 election, Amanda Jo Greep, Thomas Popelka and incumbent Adrienne River were elected to six-year terms, and Jennifer Cutshall was elected to a four-year term. They will be sworn in as trustees on the six-member board, and officers will elected during the board’s regular meeting Wednesday, May 17, at the library.
