Starry Nights opens with Pride Night concert June 9

A celebratory Pride Night program on Friday, June 9, will open the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s 2023 Starry Nights program at the band shell at Marie Irwin Park, Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in Homewood.

This year, in the spirit of inclusion, the show is being presented by the villages of Homewood and Flossmoor and the H-F Park District as the community marks June as Pride Month.

The Starry Nights Pride Concert is free and is sponsored by Specialized Staffing Solutions.

From 5 to 7 p.m., resource vendors will be on hand providing information and support services while a DJ spins records. The entertainment starts at 7 p.m. when The PriSSillas take the stage. The band features an eclectic set list, off-the-charts chemistry and witty sense of humor. Their high-energy show will bring the crowd to their feet as the PriSSillas take you on a musical journey cranking out popular hits spanning numerous decades and genres.
