H-F Theatre troupe presents ‘Tuck Everlasting’

Students in the Homewood-Flossmoor High School theater program will bring the musical “Tuck Everlasting” to life at 7 p.m. on April 20, 21 and 22 in the Mall Auditorium.

Based on the children’s book by Natalie Babbitt, the H-F Theatre production centers around Winnie Foster, who wants an adventure that takes her beyond her surroundings. When she unexpectedly becomes entwined with the Tuck Family, Winnie finds herself in the magical place of unending youth that the Tucks inhabit.

She realizes she must protect their secret from those who would try to snatch it from the Tucks. Winnie also must make the difficult choice of returning to her life or continuing with the Tucks on their infinite journey.

Cast members are Trey Gerring, Stella Hoyt, Jazmin Rhodes, Steven Rogers and Bryce Steward. The production is directed by H-F Theater teacher J.R. Willard-Rose. H-F student musicians will perform the musical score for the show.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens, and are now on sale online.
