COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY – Volunteer to pick up litter in Flossmoor during the annual Chicago Southland Green Committee Community Clean Up Day, 9 a.m. to noon on April 8. Volunteers will work in the vacant lot behind Meijer, 3800 Flossmoor Road. Those younger than 15 should be accompanied by an adult. Find a registration link on the village website.
VEGGIE GARDENING BASICS – Dip your toe into vegetable gardening with a course on the basics. Green Thumb Saturdays hosts Basic Veggie Gardening, 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Homewood Village Hall.
HOMEWOOD VEHICLE STICKERS – Village of Homewood vehicle stickers are now on sale. Renewal notices have been mailed to residents. Stickers can be purchased online, by mail and at village hall. The deadline to display stickers is May 31.
