VOTE FOR FVM – Today is the last day to vote for the Flossmoor Veterans Memorial project in the Old National Bank “Choose Your Charity” campaign. FVM could win $5,000, which would help the fundraising campaign top its $100,000 fundraising goal. FVM hopes to break ground on a new veterans memorial this spring.
SKATE WITH THE BUNNY – Strap on your blades and Skate with the Bunny at Homewood-Flossmoor Ice Arena, 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Take a spin around the ice and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Admission is $6, and skate rental is $4.
FREE LUCKY EGG HUNT – Residents of Homewood and Flossmoor can bring kids age 10 and younger to the Lucky Egg Hunt, a free event 10 a.m. Saturday at Irwin Park. The Easter Bunny will spread eggs for children to pick up, including a few lucky ones that provide an extra prize. Take photos with the bunny after the hunt.
