SCIENCE CENTER CLOSED – Homewood Science Center is closed this weekend while the staff hosts the Girls STEAM SUCCESS Club STEAM Celebration private event. HSC will reopen on March 11 for regular STEM Saturday activities and a visit from Forest Preserves of Cook County.
FLOSSMOOR ST. PAT’S DAY PARADE – Flossmoor St. Patrick’s Day parade is at 1 p.m. Saturday. Parade participants begin to line up at 12:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Community House, 847 Hutchison Road. The parade will wind through the Flossmoor Park neighborhood then return to the Flossmoor Community House for doughnuts and hot chocolate.
