Lt. Governor visits GSU to help launch stroke prevention initiative 

Stroke awareness, prevention and treatment are getting a major boost in the Southland.

Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton and state Rep. Debbie Meyers-Martin (38th) visited Governors State University on Friday, Feb. 24, to help launch a major collaborative project between the Illinois Department of Health and GSU's College of Health and Human Services.
