KING DAY DONATIONS – In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Village of Homewood teamed up with District 153 to support three local nonprofit agencies. Homewood’s schools each adopted an organization, and will collect donations on its behalf through Jan. 17.
Willow School: South Suburban Humane Society
Churchill School: Anew
James Hart School: Respond NOW
School staff, students and their families are encouraged to donate, and community members can drop off donations at the schools. See the Village of Homewood website for lists of needed items, and to learn more about each organization.
