There's still time to decide how you can give back through Flossmoor's MLK Day of Service. On Monday, a number of community agencies and volunteers will participate in projects and collections to benefit local residents.
Activities include building beds for kids in need, picking up litter, making lunches, tying blankets, donating blood, attending a classical concert, and creating Valentine's cards for residents of long-term care facilities.
Collections include donations of non-perishable food; supplies for shelter animals; bedding, LEGOs and books for kids; baked goods for social service and emergency . . .
