LEAF IT AT THE CURB – Village of Flossmoor offers Free Leaf Collection from Nov. 7 to Dec. 2. Residents of single-family homes can place leaves only in 33-gallon biodegradable paper bags on the street curb for free pick-up, no stickers needed.
Bags should be set at the curb no later than 6 a.m. your scheduled collection days. Homewood Disposal customers should follow their normal trash pickup schedule. All others can refer to the color-coded map on the village website.
ANOTHER CHANCE TO PLANT – The Flossmoor Green Commission needs volunteers for its annual fall tree planting.
